We’re excited to share a bit more about our sponsors for 2020; what they stand for, what they do and what led them to supporting the Surf Coast Trek.
Introducing for 2020… Coulter Roache!
Can you please tell us a little bit about your business?
At Coulter Roache, we partner with our clients to provide high quality legal advice. We have more than 60 employees across Geelong, Torquay, Melbourne, Anglesea, Bannockburn and Barwon Heads and we have been involved in the Geelong community for more than 80 years.
We are a team of highly engaged people, with a focus on the delivering legal solutions to help our clients meet the challenges of today, while planning for tomorrow.
What made you decide to support the Surf Coast Trek as a sponsor?
Becoming a sponsor of the Surf Coast Trek was an easy decision. We are engaged in supporting our community and both Give Where You Live and Kids Plus are organisations we actively support.
Why is supporting the community important for your business?
Supporting our community is part of our DNA at Coulter Roache. We give back, of our time, expertise and experience, to help others in the community grow, and it makes us better community members for doing so.
What message would you like to give trekkers undertaking the Surf Coast Trek?
You’ve got this! What an amazing activity to be undertaking, supporting our community and getting active out in the picturesque Surf Coast.
What are you most looking forward to about being involved with the Surf Coast Trek 2020?
We have 12 trekkers participating on 2020, so we are looking forward to cheering them on as they pass through our sponsored Anglesea stop.
What do staff get out of the team experience and how do you get them involved?
Our team need no motivation – we all recognise the importance of the work that Kids Plus Foundation and Give Where You Live do. We take any opportunity to share resources to support these organisations.
Participants in the Trek enjoy the bragging rights of completing the physical challenge! Our participants really enjoyed the comradery shared by all walkers during the event and the support at the rest stops.
We’ve all delighted at the fundraising efforts which have included selling baked goods, hosting morning teas and making healthy lunches.
Thanks to Coulter Roache for joining us as a Surf Coast Trek sponsor in 2020. You can find more about Coulter Roache here.
